Working alongside the marketing department at Bridgend College, we were approached with a connect we knew we could sink our skill set into and pull off something truly great.
The goal was to engage with students from the age of 16 -24 across a two day skills festival focused around the individuals next steps into a job, apprenticeship or studying.
We were going to engage and push the brand by allowing them to pose for a photo opportunity in our own interactive construction site but with an added element of fun.
The activation will consist of a video opportunity, branded email sharing station and a personalised photo keyring to take away.
We built two custom booth units, one to act as the camera operating stand and the other to be a sharing/print station. We wanted to be able to shoot direct on so the camera would not have to be adjusted in between each shot.
Each unit designed to look like a construction site safety board. The users would enter alongside the unit allowing them to read the safety features describing each activation. In our case this was an interactive video boomerang, digital sharing and a take away keyring.
Ons site staff would explain the full process of the video and would hand over to another member of staff at the sharing station. They would reinforce the need to share their video via email, this then allowed for their keyring to be printed and produced before leaving the station. Roughly around 30 seconds after the sequence had finished.
A fully customised email would be sent immediately with an attached video but also a custom link to open evenings at the college. All data in the email was trackable allowing for the client to understand their return on investment.
